Incredible Glasses Let Colorblind People See Color For The First Time (Video)

by Sean Levinson

A miraculous treatment for colorblindness has been found in the form of a simple-looking pair of glasses.

According to Boing Boing, the creation, by eyewear company EnChroma, uses filters to distinguish colors that colorblind people would otherwise see as the same, dull shade.

Four such individuals try on the glasses and see an entire spectrum of colors for the very first time in a short documentary, "Color for the Colorblind," produced by paint and coating manufacturer Valspar.

The glasses will be given to more people who wish to publicize their struggles with colorblindness using the hashtag #ColorForAll as well as to colorblind visitors of art museums all around the US.
