A new Kickstarter campaign aims to answer one of the world's most sought-after questions: What do farts smell like in other countries?

Fart in a Jar will deliver flatulent samples from 80 different nations, according to its Kickstarter page, spanning everywhere from Germany and Vietnam to Abu Dhabi and the Samoan Islands.

A single jar costs just $9, and $500 will get you a "Fart Fest," or a fart from every participating country.

The page makes sure to note that certain odors may not be as potent as others due to differences in each individual's diet.

A 20-year veteran of the video game industry by the name of Roy Stanton started the project, which aims to raise $10,000 by March 7.

Stanton claims to have had a hand in the release of games like Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty and Guitar Hero.

The only thing he's truly good at, he says, "is not taking myself too seriously."

Stanton wrote on the Kickstarter page that the project's biggest challenge was testing the farts.

The page reads,

It is difficult to sample farts from so many nationalities and still maintain a healthy and nutritious diet. However, as our nasal cavities became desensitized we found it easier and easier to sample our flatulent findings without gagging.

Make your pledge now, or you'll spend your whole life pondering the after effects of authentic Polish kielbasa.
