On some rare days, however, real kindness takes place.
A 2013 video that's just beginning to gain popularity documents such an exchange on the 6 train.
A woman selling roses for a dollar each is taken aback by a man giving her $140 along with one simple request: Distribute the buds free of charge.
Struggling through her happy tears, the woman offers her multicolored roses to her fellow commuters. It's a beautiful reminder that making someone else's day can be very easy indeed.
