A woman reportedly stabbed her boyfriend to death because he spent too much time on Facebook.

According to Daily Mail, 23-year-old Terri-Marie Palmer met unemployed Damon Searson, 24, when he went to her Lancaster, England hair salon for a haircut.

Searson regularly posted shirtless selfies on Facebook, one of which Palmer apparently called "gross" in the comments section.

They moved in together in July of last year, but the pair reportedly argued frequently in the weeks leading up to Searson's death.

Palmer reportedly texted Searson,

Crying myself to sleep for the second time this week and it's only Wednesday. Thanks Damon. I'm so angry and hurt I honestly want to f****** stab you.

On August 13, Palmer told a friend via Facebook Searson constantly added female friends on the social network.

She allegedly said Searson was so focused on Facebook, he was "completely blanking" when she tried to talk to him.

In the alleged Facebook conversation, she wrote,

All he does is sits there and adds loads of girls. He's a f****** little prick. I'm fuming with him.

The couple could be heard arguing at around midnight before Palmer knocked on a neighbor's door for help.

Searson was stabbed in the chest, and a bread knife, covered in blood, was reportedly lying on a nearby couch.

He died at the hospital soon after.

Palmer called the police and claimed she threw the knife to Searson, but it accidentally landed in his chest.

She gave different versions of the story, however, to emergency responders and police officers, leading authorities to determine she inflicted the single, fatal wound.

Palmer was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison last week.

She will be eligible for parole after a minimum of 12 years.
