Here's What We Know About The Shooting At UCLA So Far

Updated, 3:10pm EST: The situation is now "entirely contained," according to the LAPD chief.

Police confirmed that the two victims were men, according to the Los Angeles Times, in what is believed to be a murder-suicide.

Update, 2:25pm EST: Two people are confirmed dead at the UCLA campus, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Police are reportedly going from room to room searching for a shooter. The city of Los Angeles has been placed on tactical alert by the LAPD.

Update, 2:10pm EST: The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is responding to the scene.

There is currently no one in custody and people on campus remain on lockdown.

A shooting was reported at the University of California in Los Angeles early Wednesday afternoon.

The entire campus was put on lockdown. The shooter was reported at Engineering IV. Police are on the scene investigating.

UCLA confirms there are two victims.

The Daily Bruin reports the shooter is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket and black pants.

People on campus are being asked to head to shelter.
