Hollywood Is Getting A 'Star Wars' Cantina Bar
Every time I walk down Hollywood Boulevard, I whisper to myself, "You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Come winter, this statement won't sound as weird when spoken out loud!
That's because by then Hollywood will get its own "Star Wars" cantina-themed bar called (appropriately) Scum and Villainy.
Here's what the bar's website had to say about the experience it aims (hopefully better than Greedo's aim) to provide,
The Scum and Villainy Cantina is nestled less than 12 parsecs away, in the wretched hive of Hollywood, CA. This temporary pop-up experience transports you into a fully immersive environment where you drink, eat, and hang out as if you were in a galaxy far away. If you've got the credits, we'll serve your kind here… just make sure to leave your droids at home. Costumes encouraged.
Speaking of which, Han shot first, but did he take a shot first? And if so, did he do it with a chaser in a solo cup?
THESE ARE THE CONVERSATIONS I'M GOING TO HAVE NIGHTLY AT THIS BAR.
I say nightly because it seems that it will be open to the public every day. Can you imagine being a regular here? The recurring lightsaber brawls? The eggheaded alien jazz band?
My inner-smuggler already feels completely at home.
Their website implies that you might want to book a res, saying that seated reservations will be taken for the 6pm-8pm time slot, the 8:30pm-10:30pm time slot, and on Saturdays, from 3pm-5pm.
But if you're walk-in, you have to wait until 11pm. Whoa, who's running this bar? The Emperor?
On top of that, if you do decide to make a reservation, you're going to get some sweet galactic swag.
The freebies include "two drinks of your choice, a souvenir pint glass, Scum and Villainy challenge coin, a few extra surprises, and two hours of the most immersive galactic scenery this far into the outer-rim."
The bar, whose location remains a secret as well kept as the location of the rebel base, is located somewhere in Hollywood. Time will tell the exact location soon.
According to Nerdist, reservations open up earlier as next week, so put your name down and hopefully the force will be with you.
