The hacker who displayed porn on a billboard on a busy city street could be facing hard jail time.

No one knows if the jury will pity him and let him get off scot-free.

We are still groping and desperate for answers here. We need answers so bad.

Now, streaming porn in the United States on a hacked billboard may be bad, but considering this took place in Indonesia it's... a lot worse.

Porn is banned in Indonesia.

I know, I thought the same thing. Looks like I'm crossing "visit Indonesia" off my bucket list as well.

A 24-year-old IT expert was arrested on Tuesday after it was believed he was the culprit in displaying Japanese porn on the billboard, which was located at a busy south Jakarta intersection on Friday.

The pornography was displayed for a couple of minutes before the power was shut off, which is pretty rude.

At least let some people finish what they started.

Of course, at least according to The Jakarta Post, it wasn't really that hard to hack into the billboard system.

The unidentified man took a photo of a username and password on the billboard, which was accidentally displayed on the screen.

The man said he was the only one involved in the hacking, which was really just taking easily obtained information and entering it in the required fields, but the police have not discovered the alleged photo of the password and username on the man's phone.

GASP.

The plot has officially thickened.

Police are also trying to figure out if the man had a motive besides, like, it being a really funny thing to do.

Sadly, because of the ridiculous laws on pornography in Indonesia, this poor guy is facing a maximum prison sentence of six years, on top of a fine of one billion rupiah (about $78,825).

It really makes you wonder...

Why do they hate porn so much?
