Video emerged of a man urinating on an assembly line at a Kellogg's production plant.

The footage was apparently filmed at a Memphis facility in 2014 but was only posted online last Friday, according to CNN.

It appears to show a male employee filming himself urinating on a conveyor belt, though it's not clear if any items are on the machine.

In a statement to WREG, Kellogg's spokesman Kris Charles said,

Kellogg takes this situation very seriously and we were shocked and deeply disappointed by this video that we just learned of yesterday. We immediately alerted law enforcement authorities and regulators. A criminal investigation is underway as well as a thorough internal investigation.

The criminal investigation is reportedly being led by the US Food and Drug Administration.

Charles went on to list three products that may have been contaminated: Rice Krispies Treats, Rice Krispies Treats cereal and puffed rice cake products.

All of these products would be past their expiration dates, meaning they were likely already eaten, according to the statement.

Kellogg's and its workers union were reportedly embroiled in a labor dispute when the footage was filmed.

The urination may have been a response to the employee lockout that ensued during this bitter conflict.
