Tragic Photos Show Devastation Hurricane Matthew Is Causing On Its Way To US

Twitter/ Reuters

Hurricane Matthew is on a ruthless path of destruction. The storm has already taken at least 11 lives during its trek across the Caribbean, according to The Washington Post.

Although certain areas of the United States are still anticipating Matthew's terror, territories in Jamaica, Haiti and Cuba have already fallen victim to the hurricane -- and photos of the storm are straight out of a nightmare.

Seriously, an untouched still from the radar map looks like the goddamn Crypt-Keeper.

Winds reached a peak of a whopping 145 mph in Haiti on Tuesday, making the storm a Category 4 hurricane.

Jocelerme Privert, the provisional president of Haiti, spoke in a news conference about the destruction, saying,

We've already seen deaths. People who were out at sea. There are people who are missing. They are people who didn't respect the alerts. They've lost their lives.

The storm is considered the strongest these nations have seen in nearly a decade, so now the United States is preparing to evacuate over one million people from Florida and South Carolina before it hits the southeast US.

If the devastation in America is anything like the photos and videos that were captured during Matthew's Caribbean havoc, we have a lot to prepare for.

Can you believe this?

145 mph winds are absolutely terrifying.

As you can see, this hurricane is no joke. If you live in the predicted path of Matthew, do yourself a favor and GTFO.
