Hospital Staff Surprises Cancer Patient With A Whip/Nae Nae Flash Mob (Video)

by Eitan Levine

This is the first and only time you will ever cry while the song “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” plays in the background -- hopefully.

Staff at Louisiana's Willis-Knighton Cancer Center decided to celebrate 12-year-old Sophia Petikas' last day of treatment with a Silentó-inspired flash mob.

Sophia's mom told Inside Edition the team learned the dance through YouTube videos leading up to her final day in treatment.

The family made sure to shout out to the radiation team in the video description, saying,

Our family would like to express how thankful we are for all of the wonderful people at WK who took part in surprising our daughter with this fun, unforgettable surprise.

This is the oddest song to cry tears of joy during.

At one point in the video, through tears, I whispered to myself,

She DOES have a stanky leg! A healthy stanky leg!
