Banker Rurik Jutting accused of murdering two sex workers in Hong Kong.
A man sawed through the neck of a sex worker after forcing her to lick a toilet bowl and torturing her for three days with sex toys, a court has heard.
Rurik Jutting, 31, is accused to killing two Indonesian sex workers while high on cocaine at a flat in Hong Kong in 2014.
The British banker then recorded himself talking about the murders on his iPhone.
Jutting appeared in court Monday and tried to plead guilty to a charge of manslaughter. But his bid was rejected and he now faces a trial after pleading not guilty to murdering Sumarti Ningsih, 23, and Seneng Mujiasih, 26.
Prosecutor John Reading said Ningsih agreed to come home with Jutting on October 25, 2014 after he offered her a large sum of money.
He became violent and kept her as his prisoner for three days. During that time, he tortured her with sexy toys and pliers, the court heard.
Her ordeal came to an end when he forced her to lick the toilet bowl while he sawed through her neck with a knife.
After torturing her for three days, he took her into the bathroom, had her kneel in front of the toilet bowl with her hands tied behind her back. He made her lick the toilet bowl and then he cut her throat with a serrated-edged knife.
Jutting allegedly stuffed her body in a suitcase and left it on a balcony to decompose over a number of days.
During that time he had Mujiasih back to the same apartment.
The court heard how she noticed a gag and cried out for help. Jutting is accused of pulling out a knife he had hidden underneath his pillow before slitting her throat.
He recorded a series of videos describing the killings and how he enjoyed domination, reports DailyMail.com.
In one of them, Jutting said he "definitely could not have done that without cocaine."
