You'll Never Wait At A Red Light Again With Audi's Futuristic New Feature

Yeah, the Audi is sex on wheels, no arguing about that.

And just when you thought they couldn't get any more big in the game, the car firm drops a proper futuristic update that will change the way we drive forever.

A number of new Audi vehicles with the firm's intelligence software will have a cool traffic light feature that tells the driver how fast they should be going to make it through the green light phase.

And if you're stuck at traffic lights, a countdown will appear on a screen showing you how long you have to wait until it's green again.

How's that for a nice piece of future. Awesome, right?

The traffic light feature was first displayed at a car show in Las Vegas in 2014.

Audi announced today the technology will be available this fall in select 2017 Audi Q7, A4 and A4 models.

The feature is part of Audi's wider "Car-To-X Communication" that aims to roll out other cool wireless services like paying for parking without having to leave your car.
