This Adorable Kitten Can't Stop Shaking, But She Is Still Loving Life (Video)

by Gillian Fuller

We should all aspire to be like Shakes.

Who is Shakes, you ask?

Well, Shakes is a rambunctious 8-month-old kitty from Mumbai who suffers from a neurological condition called Feline Cerebellar Hypoplasia. The genetic disease causes little Shakes to tremor uncontrollably — hence the name.

But “suffers from” isn’t really the most correct phrase: Little Shakes doesn’t suffer; she thrives.

In a video posted to Facebook by nonprofit World For All, little Shakes can be seen flitting around like the sassy little kitten she is.

As the video’s captions explain, Shakes doesn’t let her condition stop her from doing anything, and for that, she’s an inspiration.

Little Shakes, however, is one of the thousands of homeless animals rescued from the streets of Mumbai, and she’s looking for a loving home.
