Surprise! The Weeknd Dropped Two New Tracks On Christmas Day

by Gillian Fuller

Christmas might be over, but the gifts just keep on coming.

On Friday, The Weeknd — whom MTV recently crowned one of the top 5 artists of 2015 — surpised fans everywhere by dropping two new tracks.

The first track, called “Low Life,” is a catchy, beat-heavy collab with Future, while the second is a remixed, updated version of Jeremih's "Pass That."

The singer announced the songs' releases on Twitter shortly after midnight on Christmas, much to the delight of fans itching for a follow-up to his chart-topping record, “Beauty Behind The Madness.”

Both tracks are available on SoundCloud (and they've already been played a combined two million times).

Take a listen, below, and be sure to add 'em to your New Year's Eve playlist.
