'Gangnam Style' Singer Psy Releases Super Weird New Music Video (Video)

by Stacey Leasca

You all remember Psy, right?

Just in case that name doesn't ring a bell, let me refresh your memory.

The year was 2012. It was an unusually hot summer with an unusually dry music scene.

But, one day, Park Jae-sang, better known as Psy, dropped the ultimate song of the summer with his single, "Gangnam Style." (Gangnam, for those of you who don't know, is a district of Seoul, South Korea.)

The song soon became a global sensation and was the first video to ever reach 1 billion views on YouTube.

Now, the South Korean singer/rapper/producer is trying to recreate the glory of "Gangnam Style" with his latest video for his song, "Daddy."

The video features Psy along with a CGI version of his father and his very creepy son.

Look, I sat through all four minutes of this video, and while entertaining, it's no "Gangnam Style."

But, then again, I am not sure anything will ever be able to match that worldwide sensation ever again. After one day on YouTube, "Daddy" has amassed nearly half a million views.

"Daddy" is catchy for sure, but this video is weird as hell. Check it out in all its glory, above.
