Leighton Meester released her debut album, Heartstrings, just over a year ago — but it's her new music that has us excited.

The former “Gossip Girl” star recently collaborated with musician Dana Williams on a cover of Elvis Presley's Christmas hit, “Blue Christmas.”

The cover, a beautiful, bluesy acoustic rendition of the classic holiday song, highlights Meester's musical talent in a way that we haven't seen since…well, ever.

With this, we can't help but hope Blair Waldorf's alter-ego releases more music, but with the recent birth of her first child (with husband Adam Brody), we have a feeling she'll be keeping a low profile for awhile.
