Ellie Goulding's 'Take Me To Church' Cover Is Super Refreshing (Listen)

Hozier came out of nowhere this past year with his eponymous album.

The big single from that record is, of course, "Take Me to Church."

The song is catchy, insightful and lyrically complex. Now, Ellie Goulding decided to cover the track.

Her version is airy and more upbeat than the original and it adds some electronic wrinkles to Hozier's version.

But, that doesn't take away from its haunting nature.

I'm not sure if I prefer Goulding's take on "Take Me to Church" over Hozier's, but it is definitely a unique interpretation.
