Having confidence is the key to leading a happy life. Confidence in every aspect of your life reflects upon your well-being, level of satisfaction and peace, and the ability to be the best version of yourself, no matter what life throws your way. We need confidence to push us toward achieving our goals, whether professional or personal.

Confidence is the guiding light to going after your dream job and nailing the interview process, finding the man/woman of your dreams and turning it into something special, or embarking on a spiritual journey to discover your true self. Without confidence, you sell yourself short and life is marked by perpetual uncertainty. If you're living in uncertainty, you're not living right.

Confidence in who you are as an individual is the number one factor involved with finding happiness. You must first discover who you are and learn to love yourself before determining what life you are meant to lead. Without confidence in yourself as an individual, how can you be confident in what you want in this life?

It's important for every individual to take time to learn about themselves, without reliance on another person for their happiness. Learn about your faults, your imperfections, your good qualities, your personality, what makes you tick and what ticks you off and learn to love it all. Become confident with who you are and the skin that you are in.

Have confidence in where you are. So, you finished college and life is at a stand still. You just got laid off from a job that your lifestyle relied on. You decided your partner is not whom you want to be with for the rest of your life. Keep the faith; maintain the confidence that where you are is the right place for you to be.

You have much of your life awaiting you, and anything could happen. If you fail to recognize the potential ahead of you, your confidence in a promising future will fall and your self-esteem will fall along with it. You are only as powerful as you believe yourself to be. If you think you can conquer the world, you will go on to do great things that impact the world in significant ways.

Likewise, if you think life is reaching an epic downfall, you're going to become reserved and pessimistic about bouncing back. Remain confident in the power that you have to change the world, confident in your knowledge and acquired craft, and confident that you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Have confidence that everything will play out the way it's supposed to. Whether or not you believe in a higher power as the guiding force behind everything that goes down in life, what happens in your life will happen as it's meant to. There are some controllable factors and some uncontrollable.

Learning to accept life for whatever hand it deals you is all about having confidence that there is always brightness ahead. The world is not against you. Don't fall victim to feeling sorry for yourself, or taking pity on yourself for some unfortunate situation you are in. Have confidence that everything is a learning experience, meant to guide you toward wherever fate awaits you.

All in all, confidence in the fact that you are worthy of a happy life hails above all other things. The more good you send out into the world, the more you will get back. Despite past experiences, mistakes, fortunes or misfortunes, be the best person you can be from here on out, and have confidence that you are deserving of a good life.
