Comedian Nathan Fielder is known for stirring the pot with his fans, especially with his text message pranks that he encourages his fans to engage in.

Recently, he prompted his fans to text their parents about a drug deal followed with the text “oops wrong text,” which understandably caused parents to lose their sh*t.

Now, Fielder is back -- and this time, he asked his fans to text their significant others “I haven’t been fully honest with you.”

This vague text is one we all fear receiving and boy, does the hilarity ensue when the pranksters don’t respond to the frantic answers to it.

When the pranksters don’t respond for an hour after the initial text, it sends their significant others into a frenzy, sending numerous texts and calls demanding answers.

Some jumped to conclusions of infidelity, breaking up via text and calling the pranksters monsters.

The prank backfired for some, as some of the victims of the joke admitted to their own infidelity as a form of revenge.

While this prank is hysterical, it puts one’s entire relationship at risk, a bold move for such a petty laugh. If you want to pull this prank off on your boyfriend or girlfriend, make sure you understand the risks going in, as the joke may be on you at the end of the day.
