Parody Perfectly Describes People Who Get Offended By Everything

by Connor Toole

I've been working online for longer than any sane person should, and during this time, I've realized it's close to impossible to say literally anything without accidentally offending someone.

For example, I once made a menu for a fake Chinese restaurant to poke fun at the low-quality joints everyone has ordered from at 2 am at some point in their lives, after which some people accused me of being racist because some people don't understand what racism is.

I'm not saying people aren't allowed to be offended, but it seems that we've reached a point when simply acknowledging the differences between people and cultures will inevitably cause someone to go on a rant nobody wants to listen to.

The consequences might not be as severe as the ones in this sketch from Extremely Decent, but you can never be too careful.
