Graphic Designer Makes Hilarious Posters To Help Find Coworker's Missing Cat (Photos)

by Connor Toole

We've featured the email escapades of humorist David Thorne before, but apparently he's the only one of his coworkers who knows how to access the Internet because everyone still insists on the company's graphic designer doing their personal work for free.

This time, it's for a lost cat, and like any sensible human being, David is hesitant to be compassionate when it comes to an animal that lacks the capacity to display affection.

The exchange is lengthy, but the payoff makes reading the entire thing worth it.

The initial email...

And so it begins...

Shannon doesn't have time for this...

The first poster arrives...

Unfortunately, Shannon doesn't appreciate art...

David explains in perfect technical terms:

But hell hath no fury than a Shannon scorned...

David gets less minimalist...

But Shannon is a harsh critic...

Relentless...

But ultimately unappreciated...

David changes the subject... But Shannon has a keen eye for detail... David makes his case, but Shannon is the Wu-Tang Clan of people... Shannon doesn't even love her cat that much... David exposes her for the cheapskate that she is... And finally, Shannon comes to her senses...

Thorne wins again!
