But you know what's even better than catching up on your shows while sipping some vino and spooning your beloved BFFs, Ben and Jerry? Stuffing your face with an ice cold confection that will let you get wine wasted, of course!
That's right. You can now have your wine and eat it, too because wine ice cream — aka "Winecream" — is a real thing, and it looks insanely delicious.
This glorious ice cream was invented by a small, family-operated business in Baltimore called "The Crossroad Company," and is made by flash freezing a mixture of cream and "craft-made fruit wines" with liquid nitrogen.
If that doesn't sound cool enough, you'll be glad to know that these scoops will get you just as sloshed as the real deal since each boozy bowl contains 10 percent alcohol by volume. I know. What a time to be alive.
Apparently, the company has been dishing out this delectable dessert at local festivals and private events for the past couple years.
But before you jump into your car and drive to Baltimore to get your hands on a couple pints of this sweet snack, you should know that Winecream may soon be making its way to a freezer section near you, or even better, your mailbox.
That's right. The Crossroad Company is expanding its operations, and pretty soon you'll even be able to order this tipsy treat online.
Katie Gorham, the owner of The Crossroad Company, told Thrillist,
If all goes well, it's only a matter of time before this insane ice cream takes over the world.
