Artist Pairs Classical Art With Vibrators In A Brilliant Photo Project
If you measure a piece of art by its controversial value, this artist's “Magic Wand” pieces of art should be considered modern masterpieces — just don't tell an art historian that.
The highly controversial series takes famed historical (mostly nude) paintings and Photoshops in vibrators (specifically, Hitachi's Magic Wand massager).
Why? You may ask. But, why not?
Though the Tumblr-born series received plenty of flak from those who find the modifications crude and disrespectful, many others consider the series a funny, thoughtful commentary on nudity and art.
Whatever your opinion, one thing is for sure: This quirky series will make you think.
