Puppies Galore! The Annual Golden Retriever Festival In Scotland Will Melt Your Heart

Ow, my heart. There is such a thing as too much joy. I believe the definition of "pure happiness" is the image of a field full of golden retrievers smiling at you in unison from an idyllic and pastoral Scottish meadow.

Introducing the Guisachan Gathering, hosted each year by the Golden Retriever Club of Scotland. The first of these festivals saw daylight in 2006, and was organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the organization.

Scotland happens to be the ancestral home of this particular breed, so the location is all the more relevant.

This year's festival is scheduled for July, and will host a record high of 222 dogs. Hold all my calls.
