Makeup Artist Transforms Herself Into Frightening Aliens And Monsters (Photos)

Usually, people use makeup to make themselves look more attractive and presentable.

But on Instagram, people often post mind-blowing makeup transformations -- not just their touch-ups before dinner dates.

Not too long ago, we introduced you to Paolo Ballesteros, a Filipino television host known for transforming himself into artists like Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian West using just makeup.

Now, it's all about Emily Anderson.

According to Daily Mail, the Los Angeles-based makeup and special effects artist is creating quite the buzz for herself on Instagram by transforming into monsters, demons and characters from her favorite movies using makeup and face paint.

Check out the photos below for a closer look!

Meet Emily Anderson, a 23-year-old special effects and makeup artist.

Anderson shares amazing makeup transformations on her Instagram account.

You have to admit, she makes it look pretty easy!

But in reality, it takes a lot of skill and patience.

In fact, Anderson spends up to eight hours perfecting one transformation.

The coolest part? She does this for fun and for a living!

Anderson worked on music video sets with major recording artists like Nicki Minaj and David Guetta.

In addition to working with artists, she also worked on the set of major films like "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

So far, Anderson racked up over 7,000 followers on Instagram...

...but that's no surprise! I mean, you get to see her transform herself from this... THIS!

Pretty impressive, huh?!

One of the coolest parts about her craft is she doesn't just transform her face; she does a large portion of her upper body, too!

Follow her on Instagram for more makeup transformations!
