This Artist Is Documenting Her Pregnancy With The Cutest Illustrations

by Kaylin Pound

Bringing a new life into the world is an incredibly beautiful thing.

However, anyone who has carried a baby around in her belly for nine months will tell you the road to motherhood isn't always that glamorous, and sometimes, it can be a bit of a bumpy ride.

So then, what should you expect when you're expecting?

Well, thanks to one mommy-to-be from France, we now have an answer.

Recently, Macha, a talented artist and graphic designer, set out to create an adorable series of illustrations that depict all the things that happen when you have a baby on the way.

When Macha found out she was going to be a mom, she started documenting all of her daily thoughts with a variety of witty iPad illustrations that include everything from being hungry all the time and craving some seriously strange foods to the struggles of gaining more than just a baby bump and becoming borderline obsessed with Pinterest.

Macha wrote,

I wanted to find a funny way to keep all these memories and show them to my daughter one day.

All of her witty illustrations are pretty spot-on and one of cutest ways I've ever seen someone explain what it's like to be pregnant.

Check out the pictures below to see the cute illustrations.

...and some people will be assh*les and make you stand on your sore feet.

When you're pregnant, you'll pin more baby ideas and onesies than you ever thought possible...

...and you'll have to make all sorts of tough decisions.

You'll probably put on a bit of baby weight...

And miss some of your favorite foods...
