While some thrillseekers prefer capturing breathtaking underwater engagement photos, others would rather hang off massive cliffs above the Atlantic with nothing underneath them.
Pereira, who frequents the Pedra de Gávea mountain in Rio de Janeiro, needed time to get used to the terrifying view from the tip of the cliff; according to Metro, the first time he went to the top, he could only sit on the edge.
However, it only took a few more trips up for him to flirt with gravity by literally dangling off the edge.
Now, you're probably wondering,
Why would anyone want to do this?
Well, Pereira explains,
I love living on the edge! I know people think it's dangerous and crazy but it makes me feel alive. It is really high and I do just hang on using my arm strength. I have to trust myself not to fall.
And as he and his girlfriend become more and more comfortable with dangling 2,769 feet above the Atlantic, their photos only get crazier.
