The Top 10 Super And Muscle Bikes For This Summer

by Anonymous

Aside from your average drop-top coupe, there are plenty of other speedy vehicles that you'd be able to bring out during the Summer while you're on your way to a sunny destination. If you want to arrive in true style, one way to do that is to pull out a motorcycle -- preferably one that you'd be able to put a girl on while you're driving it. Check out the top 10 super and muscle bikes for this summer below:

DODGE TOMAHAWK

With its 8.3 liter V10 engine, two-speed manual transmission and a total output of 500 HP taken from the Dodge Viper, the Tomahawk reaches its top speed at 480 mph, although some say it can reach 676 kph and accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 2.5 seconds.

It weighs 680 kilos and its handling is quite complicated, so it uses dual tires on each axle. The bike was presented at the Detroit Motor Show in 2003 as a prototype motorcycle with advanced technology including a suspension that incorporates a rotor system in order to offer high performance braking. There are no more than ten of them in the world and it has not been approved as "street bike."

SUZUKI HAYABUSA

"Peregrine Falcon" is a legend made by Japan's Suzuki. With its 1,340 cm3 four-cylinder, six-speed, 16-valve, 197.2 HP, the vehicle reaches 390 kilometers per hour. It has a curb weight of 220 kilos. Since it took to the streets in 1999, it's been considered the queen of the motorcycles and one of the fastest among the Superbike series. The 2011 model comes with a more advanced system of electronic injection and power switch three positions. To this is added a spectacular aerodynamic studied in the wind tunnel.

TURBINE SUPERBIKE MTT Y2K

Also known as Y2K, this bike is not standard. It has a Rolls-Royce 250-C20 turbo shaft of 320HP and its simple transmission 2-speed automatic makes it reach 370 kilometers. Equipped with Brembo brakes and Ohlin’s suspension, its weight is 227 kilos in vacuum.

HONDA CBR BLACKBIRD

With its 1,137 cm3 four-cylinder and 153 HP, the Blackbird reaches 310 miles per hour. It is the fastest bike of the Japanese brand and also has 6 speeds. Honda manufactured it for the purpose of making the first superbike series that exceeds 300 kph. The brand succeeded, but soon was overcome by Suzuki and Hayabusa. The project began to grow in the mid-90s and took to the streets between 1997 and 2007.

MV AUGUSTA F4 1000R

It reaches a top speed of 299 miles per hour thanks to its four-cylinder engine, 174 HP and the six-speed gearbox. The F4 series has several models, including Gold, AGO and Senna, and was designed by Massimo Tamburini, who also worked with Cagiva and Ducati. But aside from its features, the important thing is that the F4 was able to revive the Italian brand in the late 90s and early 2000s.

YAMAHA YZF R1

The Yamaha could not miss this list with its flagship YZF R1 that has been making history since 1998. This superbike is as close as a person can be to the famous motorbike MotoGP champions Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. It reaches 297 miles per hour thanks to its four-cylinder, 20-valve, DOHC, liquid-cooled, 998 cm3, 180 hp and six speeds. Search contact numbers on the official site.

KAWASAKI NINJA1100

Better known as ZX11 from its birth in 1991, this motorcycle was the world’s fastest bike for years. Today, it is in seventh place with 1,052 cm3 DOHC engine and transmission with six forward gears that allow the bike to reach 283 kilometers per hour.

BMW K 1200

This bike is one of the best from Germany and around the world. It has great speed and endurance.

HONDA CBR

This motorcycle goes up to 190 mph, I mean about 304 km / h top speed.

DUCATI 1098S

This is a really great bike. If you want to live your best experience on a bike, just try it.
