This Is When Zayn Malik Will Drop His First Single Without One Direction

Ladies, the time has come: Zayn Malik's first solo track is dropping this week.

Malik, who famously left One Direction in early 2015 to pursue a solo career, announced via social media early Sunday morning that his first single, “Pillow Talk,” will drop this Friday, January 29. As Complex notes, the single is likely to be the first of many, since Malik's debut solo album is also set to come out this year.

The exciting news comes just two days after former bandmate Louis Tomlinson welcomed his first child, a baby boy with LA-based stylist Briana Jungwirth . Suffice it to say, it's been a very eventful week for Directioners.
