The day-o has finally come, but Winona Ryder is short on specific Deetz.
During an interview this week with the Golden Globe winner on "Late Night," host Seth Meyers asked flat out,
There's been talk about a 'Beetlejuice' sequel, can you confirm or deny this?
Um, I think I can confirm it, because Tim Burton… like, it was very hush hush, top secret… and then he was doing some press for 'Big Eyes' and he did an on-camera interview and he said, 'Oh yeah we're doing it and Winona's going to be in it.'
All of the pieces appear to be falling neatly into place as Michael Keaton reportedly already agreed to a sequel.
I always said that's the one thing I'd like to do again, if I ever did anything again.
Though Ryder told Meyers new, young fans continue to express their love for the film, odds are that even without a fresh audience, those who have loved the film for nearly 30 years will be thrilled for another trip to the Maitland house.
