If there's one thing Taylor Swift knows, it's the Island Life Commandments.

Island Life Commandment 1: Treat all of your employees to a relaxing island vacation.

Swift, queen of laid-back island cool, casually took her 125 band and crew members on a trip to Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef to thank them for their hard work on The 1989 World Tour.

On Instagram, Swift shared,

Thank you to Hamilton Island for taking such great care of 125 of the people who work tirelessly to make sure the 1989 World Tour stage gets built, the lights are on, the costumes are made, the guitars are tuned, and the show goes on.

Island Life Commandment 2: Birthdays are for kicking back, Kokomo style.

Tay Tay isn't the type to party with supermodels and sing about fast cars and dangerous men. When her tour ends December 12, the day before her 26th birthday, she just wants a low-key hang with a $2 million cake. BYO acoustic guitar for fireside jams.

On her previous Insta post, she added,

Aussie press, I love your enthusiasm but my birthday isn't for 2 weeks and it'll be a quiet one this year. Let's take it down a notch

Island Life Commandment 3: Make a bird friend.

Swift had a deep, transformative conversation with a cockatoo because, in a way, we're all children of Mother Nature.

Her bird brother could be the guest artist at her final 1989 performance. Keep your fingers crossed, Melbourne!
