Parody Movie Trailer Shows The Story Of Jay Z Starring White People

by Adam Pliskin

This weekend's episode of "Saturday Night Live," hosted by JK Simmons, was kind of hit-or-miss. But, one of the hits was "The Jay Z Story."

In the sketch, Mike O'Brien played Jay Z in a short biopic. The clip tracked the rapper's rise from the projects to superstardom.

The joke of the sketch was really about how Hollywood often has caucasian actors portray famous historical figures of different races and ethnicities.

As such, the sketch also featured "SNL" alum Jason Sudeikis as Kanye West and JK Simmons as Nas. The whole thing is both clever and silly. You can see it up top.
