The second episode of Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette airs tonight, which means it's time to start seriously getting to know these contestants.
The first guy to get out of the limo in the season premiere was Peter Kraus, and he clearly made a good first impression.
A Wisconsin native -- like Nick Viall -- Peter brought Rachel chocolate from his hometown. Unfortunately, he learned Rachel doesn't like chocolate, but hey, you can't win 'em all!
Speaking to a local Wisconsin station, Rachel said,
According to reports -- er, rumors -- Peter gets the coveted first one-on-one date with Rachel in Monday night's episode.
So who is Peter? Here's what we know.
1. He's a personal trainer.
After struggling with an eating disorder, Peter enrolled in a dietetics program at Madison college and became a personal trainer in 2009. He opened up Worth Personal Training and, judging by his Instagram posts, the guy definitely practices what he preaches.
2. He's a big sports fan.
In his bio for the show, he reveals football is his favorite sport. I hope Rachel wants to go to Packers games!
3. He's a proud uncle.
He frequently posts adorable photos of his niece and nephew.
4. He's a model.
On his Worth Personal Training website, Peter writes that his modeling career is what led him to develop an eating disorder and "hit rock bottom" in 2007. He clearly changed his lifestyle for the better and is still doing some modeling gigs.
5. He's run three Ironmans.
In his bio on the ABC website, he says he ran one with a broken foot. So that's impressive. He also has an Ironman tattooed on his ribs.
6. He really loves the lake.
Based on his Instagrams alone, you can tell Peter leads a very active lifestyle whether he's in the gym or having fun on the weekends. Do we think Rachel can keep up?
We'll find out more tonight! "The Bachelorette" airs Monday night at 8 pm EST.
