Finally! 1D's Louis Tomlinson Speaks Out About His Baby On The Way

Today, presumably millions of One Direction fans' heads exploded into oblivion when Louis Tomlinson admitted on "Good Morning America" he is, indeed, going to be a father.

After taking the stage for the Summer Concert Series, One Direction chatted with the hosts. Michael Strahan extended his congratulations to Tomlinson, saying,

Louis, from one father to another I want to congratulate you on your upcoming fatherhood. So how are you feeling?

Without belying too much of an emotional reaction, the pop star responded,

Obviously it's a very exciting time. So thank you.

Despite a lack of supporting information regarding the baby's mother, Briana Jungwirth, and her relationship to Tomlinson, fans can rest easy (or freak out super duper hard?) and move forward with the confirmation.

Until now, the baby news was a mere rumor, and Directioners were forced to take matters into their own hands, which basically meant hunting down info on Jungwirth via social media and launching futile requests for solid answers into the Twittersphere.

Today's clipped validation straight from Tomlinson himself will have to tide fans over until the singer is ready to talk again.
