Coachella-goers got the surprise of a lifetime Friday night when the newly-reunited LCD Soundsystem honored the late, great David Bowie during their headlining set.

The popular band paid homage to Bowie with a powerful and beautiful cover of “Heroes." LCD Soundsystem is among a diverse group of artists who have honored the legendary musician since his death earlier this year.

Fans were floored by the cover, with some calling LCD's version “perfect.”

LCD Soundsystem also covered the Guns N' Roses classic “November Rain,” and they played several fan favorites, including “New York, I Love You” and “Tribulations.”

In short: It was the show of a lifetime. (Not that I'm biased or anything.)
