Kim Kardashian Opens Up About 'Awful,' High-Risk Second Pregnancy

by Kendall Wood

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Kim Kardashian opens up about feeling anxious and worried for her high-risk pregnancy.

Following struggles to get pregnant with her and husband Kanye West's first daughter, North, the reality TV star gets candid and emotional about giving birth for a second time in the new season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."

Kardashian, 35, recently joked, "I just don't think pregnancy and me really agree with each other."

She continues, telling E! News,

I'm really not complaining, I'm just being honest and being honest about [it]. I hate it. You know pregnancy is not for me … You know I've heard stories forever about how amazing pregnancy is from my mom and Kourtney and that's just not the case for me and I'm not going to sit here and lie and act like it's the most blissful experience. It's awful.

With six weeks to go until her due date, Kim K has gained 52 pounds thus far during her pregnancy with baby number two.

It's not just about the weight gain, however, as Kardashian has been dealing with a bundle of medical issues this time around. She tells E! News,

Every medical issue that you could probably have I feel like I get and I worry so much about it. This pregnancy I have a little bit more anxiety just because I know what's to come and it's really inevitable some of the issues that I'm going to have. You know, I have a high-risk delivery and all of that gives me such anxiety. I think that I'm really hopeful and you know I manage it really well, but when I write blog posts and stuff like that about how I think it's just such a miserable experience. I mean that's my experience and I'm not gonna pretend that it's not … My huge swollen feet I don't find fun and attractive. And I get I'm so blessed to be carrying a child again when I didn't think that was possible for me. I do have access to amazing doctors that have been so helpful so I'm hopeful that everything will work out and be fine.

There are certainly plenty of mommies out there who can relate to the reality TV star's bun-in-the-oven woes.

Just imagine carrying around a seven-plus-pound baby and 50 pounds of additional weight with a paparazzi gang following your every move.

Kardashian is due to give birth to her second child sometime before the start of the new year.
