by Adam Pliskin

Jimmy Fallon is hosting a week of "The Tonight Show" from sunny Los Angeles.

In order to mark the occasion, Fallon recorded a "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"-themed cold open for his show.

In the sequence, Fallon plays the role once inhabited by Will Smith and sings an excellent reworking of the original opening song.

All of the details are spot-on, down to the way the characters are dressed. Alfonso Ribeiro makes a cameo and does The Carlton dance. Also, Jazzy Jeff shows up to drive a cab.

The whole thing is a real treat, so make sure to check it out above.
