Jamie Lannister Drops 'GOT' Season 7 Cersei Spoiler
We're still months away from the premiere of season seven of "Game of Thrones," but that doesn't mean we can't scrounge the internet looking for any and every spoiler anyone even vaguely associated with the show is dropping.
Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jamie Lannister on "GoT," isn't just associated with the HBO hit, he's one of the main players.
So, when he drops a spoiler about another main character's fate in "Game of Thrones," you know everyone is going to pay attention and lose their minds.
As it just so happens, Coster-Waldau recently chatted with The Daily Beast about the upcoming penultimate season of "GoT" and let slip a pretty big spoiler about the fate of his sister/lover, Cersei Lannister.
Specifically, interviewer Marlow Stern asked the 46-year-old actor about the season six interaction Jamie Lannister had with Edmure Tully, in which Lannister confessed his romantic involvement with Cersei.
Speaking about that scene and the future of Cersei in Westeros, Coster-Waldau said,
That's what I like about Jaime: he's lost his arm and just his presence used to be enough to sway people, and he doesn't have that anymore — but he's still got his mind. He's not like his sister and brother, but he's been on the battlefield his whole life, and knows about people's weaknesses and loving someone unconditionally — because he loves his sister unconditionally.
Following the above comments, the 46-year-old actor dropped the Cersei spoiler which now has the entire internet buzzing!
Plus, there are no other suitors. Well, that's not true… but he has to step up and take his father's place. Wow, I was about to reveal something from Season 7 and thought, What am I doing?
JAMIE LANNISTER, WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?
I don't know about y'all, but I just discovered the fact that another man, or woman, is going to be vying for Cersei's heart this season, and that sounds lit AF!
Imagine someone fighting Jamie Lannister for his sister's romantic affection!
So, who is this mystery suitor? I guess we'll just have to wait for this summer to find out.
