Uh Oh: Joey And Chandler Weren't Invited To Rachel's Wedding IRL
Of the approximately 70 lucky folks invited to Jennifer Aniston's and Justin Theroux's secret wedding last Wednesday, at least two (on-and-off-screen) friends were notably absent from the guest list: Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc.
Still, Aniston's former costars wasted no time in wishing the bride the best of luck, PEOPLE magazine reports.
LeBlanc, who now stars in the Showtime series "Episodes," spoke to the magazine during a Television Critics Association event on Monday.
He said,
I think they're a great couple. I think she's happy. And that's all I care about that Jen's happy. If she wanted me there, I would have been there.
LeBlanc insisted, though he would like to have attended the wedding, the "Friends" cast remains as close as ever.
He explained,
Jen's like my little sister. Courtney [Cox] and Lisa [Kudrow] are like my big sisters, but Jen's like my little sister. Matthew's like my little brother, and David [Schwimmer]'s like my big brother. That's how it all br[eaks] down.
Perry shared similar sentiments. He told the magazine,
[The wedding] was a surprise to me as well. They're a lovely couple, and I'm happy for them. I wasn't invited. So what can you do?
Only close friends and family scored invites to the intimate ceremony held at the couple's home in Bel-Air last week.
Following the nuptials, Jen and Justin — along with a handful of close friends — reportedly jetted off to Bora Bora for an extended honeymoon.
