Mark Wahlberg has Boston coursing through his veins, so it's no wonder he will be making a movie about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
Wahlberg will produce and star in the film, which will be called "Patriots' Day," as Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.
The film will follow Wahlberg's character on the day of the horrific event and during the subsequent manhunt for brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
This news is especially relevant as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is currently standing trial for his part in the terrorist attack.
The film will surely be an emotional roller-coaster and will hit home for those affected by the bombing.
There is no word yet on who may direct the film or when it will be released.
