The Rapping Grandma From 'The Wedding Singer' Has Died At 101

Bad news, everyone. Ellen Albertini Dow has died at the age of 101.

Dow was best known for her performance as the rapping grandma in Adam Sandler's "The Wedding Singer."

In that film, Dow rapped a hilarious version of The Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight." It's one of the more memorable moments from the film.

Dow didn't start acting in film and television until she was in her 70s, but she compiled a pretty impressive resume in a short amount of time. She appeared on episodes of "Seinfeld" and "ER."

She could also be seen in films like "Sister Act" and "Wedding Crashers."

Our thoughts go out to her friends and family. We'll always remember her rapping prowess.
