It's no big secret Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have beef.
While they both dated John Mayer, there was also tension in regards to an incident in which Perry pilfered some backup dancers from Taylor's tour a few years ago.
Now, it seems as if Perry is gearing up to exact revenge on Taylor in the form of a song. Perry officially registered a song titled "1984," the year she was born.
It seems this is a direct jab at Swift, whose last album was called 1989, also referring to the year she was born.
At this point, it's unclear what "1984" will be about exactly, but it seems like it will be Perry's answer to Swift's "Bad Blood."
However, only time will tell for sure.
