John Cena Spent An Absurd Amount On Nikki Bella’s Engagement Ring

Sunday night at WrestleMania 33, John Cena got down on one knee and asked his girlfriend of five years, Nikki Bella, to spend the rest of her life with him.

The 39-year-old Cena popped the question in the middle of the ring, shortly after he and his now-fiancée defeated the Miz and his wife, Maryse.

John Cena's live-TV proposal is a moment few will ever forget, and for good reason.

Holding a microphone in the center of the ring, Cena whipped out a small box containing a big ring and said,

I have been waiting so long to ask you this. Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?

Absolutely beautiful.

Now, though, it's time to talk about the rock John Cena put on Nikki Bella's finger.

According to E! News, the ring is five carats and is worth -- wait for it -- $115,000 dollars!

According to appraiser Deborah Villepigue, Nikki Bella's ring is Tiffany & Co.

She said,

The center stone is a perfect, round, brilliant diamond around 4 1/2 to 5 carats and about 1/2 carat of round, brilliant diamonds flanking the center stone on the band. All the diamonds are set in platinum in a classic, six-prong platinum head. It's a classic Tiffany design. The center diamond should be VS-1 in clarity and D-E color.

During an interview Monday, Bella spoke about how Cena's WrestleMania proposal caught her completely off guard. She said,

I never would have thought that he would have proposed in front of all those people. But that's home for us. WWE is our home. It's where we met. It's our passion and our life. For me, it's like, he is my prince charming. And he's saying, I want her to be my queen, at our home in front of our family. And honestly, I couldn't have asked for it to be any other way. It was perfect.

Speaking on his decision to ask Nikki Bella to be his wife, John Cena said,

I found the right person. I found a strong person that I consider an inspiration. An equal. Someone when I'm down, can pick me up. It took a person that strong to change my life.
