Diddy Charged With Assault And Battery For Allegedly Attacking UCLA Coach

by Adam Pliskin

Sean Combs, aka Diddy, has been arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, battery and making terrorist threats in Los Angeles.

Diddy allegedly attacked a UCLA football coach, Sal Alosi, with a kettlebell.

Comb's son, Justin Combs, is a reserve defensive back for the UCLA team.

Apparently, Alosi yelled at the younger Combs, and Diddy didn't take it very well. Diddy flew into a rage and came after Alosi with the weight.

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured. Diddy has since been released on $50,000 bail and will appear in court on July 13.

Yesterday, UCLA posted a statement to its athletics site regarding the incident.

It reads,

Shortly after 12:30 pm today, Sean Combs (also known as P. Diddy) was arrested at UCLA's Acosta Athletic Training Complex on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell. No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating. Combs is expected to be transported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Inmate Reception Center later this evening.

We will keep you posted as this story develops.
