EARLIER: The 2017 Video Music Awards are upon us, and with them comes our favorite celebrities, killer fashion, and epic performances. We know that it will air on Sunday, August 27 at 8 p.m. ET on MTV, but beyond that, most is left up to the imagination for now. The two big questions we have are: Who is hosting? And, who is performing at the 2017 VMAs?

Luckily, we have music super-fans scheming and researching to help give us some pretty strong predictions. Folks on Twitter have some ideas.

OG performers like Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, and Katy Perry are of course good guesses, but people are also favoring newcomers like Camila Cabello.

Pop Predictions listed the below guesses, and honestly? They all sound like strong maybes.

To get an idea of who is attending, you can check out the entire nominee and category list below, and everyone cross your fingers for a One Direction reunion!

You can also follow Daily Stans Polls for more guesses, too.
