For the second night in a row, Calvin Harris will not be able to perform.

After suffering a car accident on Friday, the Scottish producer had to cancel a Saturday night performance scheduled to take place at Alabama's Hangout Music Fest.

Harris' crash occurred in Los Angeles, where he was being driven to a nearby airport ahead of a Friday night performance at Omnia nightclub in Las Vegas.

A representative for Harris (real name Adam Wiles), told E! News,

Adam was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck in a serious collision last night in Los Angeles. He was examined by doctors and sustained a number of injuries. He has since been checked out of hospital and is now recovering. We wish all the other passengers involved in the incident a fast recovery. As a result he was not able to perform in Las Vegas at his OMNIA [nightclub] residency and will be unable to perform tonight at Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

According to TMZ, the Cadillac SUV transporting Harris was struck by a Volkswagen Beetle that was driven by a 16-year-old. One of the passengers in the oncoming car was ejected from the car but suffered no life-threatening injuries.

A Facebook post on the musician's office page signed "Calvin HQ" states doctors have told Harris to rest "for a few days."

The 32-year-old is reportedly no longer in the hospital, however, and his injuries are said to be minor.
