'She Is Finally At Peace': Bobbi Kristina Brown Dies At Age 22
Six months after being found unconscious in a bathtub at her home, Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, passed away at the age of 22.
This morning, her family confirmed her passing was due to irreversible brain damage. In a statement, the family told NBC News,
She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.
There will be an autopsy to determine what exactly led to her death, but no evidence of foul play is expected to be found.
Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home on January 31. Last month, Brown's conservator filed a $10 million lawsuit against Nick Gordon, Brown's husband or boyfriend -- it is unclear what exactly their relationship was to each other as Brown's family disputes his claim they had been married.
The two met when Gordon came into the Houston/Brown home as an orphan when he was 12 years old.
The suit claims he had abused her during their time together and removed $11,000 from her bank account after she went into a coma.
Celebrities and musicians flocked to Twitter to express their condolences for this life lost all too soon.
