It turns out being a princess back in the day was a lot less like a Disney fairytale and a lot more like "Game of Thrones."

Amy Schumer highlights this in a new sketch called "Princess Amy."

The sketch follows Amy as she goes from being a "rancid peasant girl" to a beautiful princess who lives in a castle.

But it's not all peaches and cream; Amy has to marry her first cousin and fight off a peasant rebellion.
