May 6 marks the 143rd annual Kentucky Derby, and crowds have gathered in Louisville to enjoy the festivities. For your average derby-goer, there's a lot of mud and heat to contend with — but it's a different story for the celebrities at the Kentucky Derby.

They're decked out in glamorous attire, sipping champagne, and the photos alone make me long to be in Kentucky watching an extremely brief horse race.

Check out the famous attendees — and their stellar hats and attire.

Derek Peth

The former "Bachelorette" contestant is looking dapper with his pals — and he brought the puns with him, of course.

Couric looks pretty in pink — I dig the hat and the dress.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that the genius behind "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is smiling in this photo, but he does look pleased to have discovered such a large bottle of champagne. (Relatable AF.)

The Dude Abides. Bridges is at the Kentucky Derby with his wife of 40 years, Susan Geston.

The rising star, who recently appeared in Max Adam's "Precious Cargo," is hands-down my choice for best dressed. I love the whimsical dress pattern and matching hat.

Josh Henderson & Jason Witten

The "Dallas" actor and Dallas Cowboys football star make a great duo. I wonder if they're talking about Dallas right now?

Jerry Rice

The retired NFL star is enjoying some champagne in what appears to be a VIP lounge. Cheers!

Mira Sorvino

The Oscar-winning actress is another addition to my very official "best dressed" list. Bonus points for her date's matching pink suit.

The Food Network star took a break from whipping up mouth-watering recipes and headed to Louisville.

Since I'm not a betting woman, I'm not terribly concerned about which horse will reign supreme — I'll be here living vicariously through the celebs who are watching the race from a posh VIP lounge with plenty of champagne.
