Would You Or Wouldn't You Date A Taurus?

Does a person's astrological sign really say something about his or her dating personality or overall disposition?

Many people strongly believe in the stars and what they stand for, while others do not. Regardless, it's always fun to investigate such a topic and explore it in its entirety.

We're currently in the cycle of Taurus, so we are going to take a closer look at the qualities of a person born between April 20 and May 20. Would you want to date someone of this sign? What qualities outweigh others and which do not?

Time to whip out the pros and cons:

Pros:

Harmonious

A Taurus seeks balance in his or her relationships -- and isn't that what creates a strong and healthy bond? You want to date someone who won't always keep track of who has the upper hand or who is "winning."

Romantic

If you are going to pursue a relationship with someone, what's a better trait than having a romantic disposition?

A Taurus will strive to go above and beyond to make his or her partner happy in order to have a successful and incredible relationship.

Loyal

Loyalty and trust are basically the fundamentals that relationships are built upon. You don't want to date someone who has a wandering eye and whose fidelity you're constantly questioning.

You don't need to worry about your Taurus partner because he or she only has eyes for you.

Patient

This is perhaps one of the best and most crucial qualities a person can possess. Fights and disagreements happen from time to time in relationships, so wouldn't you rather work these issues out with someone who is patient?

Relationships are all about compromise, and a patient person will be more than willing to hear your side of the story without interrupting or throwing his or her beliefs in your face.

Dependable

When you are in a relationship, it's beyond comforting to know that your partner will be there when you need him or her. If you choose to date a Taurus, this is something you will never have to worry about.

Cons:

Clingy

People under the Taurus sign have the tendency to act somewhat clingy. Their desire to seek balance may come across in a less than desirable manner, but at least they aren't acting distant, which everyone knows is a sign of a relationship gone wrong.

Argumentative

This is a tough one as some people just can't help having a short fuse and picking fights. This is a negative quality, of course, but it is one that can be dealt with in the right way.

As long as this person knows how to channel his or her temper, this isn't always a deal breaker.

Stubborn

What's worse than a person who is stuck in his or her own ways? I can't think of anything worse than arguing with someone who will neither budge nor attempt to compromise.

Sometimes you do not always know what is best and it's okay to admit that, especially in a relationship. This is difficult because as much as a Taurus seeks balance, he or she also likes to be right in an argument.

Inflexible

Routines become boring and that is a risk you face by making a Taurus your partner. It's important to keep things interesting and exciting in a relationship or you may become complacent.

When people become bored with their partners, they begin looking elsewhere.

Materialistic

Taurus individuals are somewhat snobbish and value material items. This trait alone should not be considered a deal breaker when compared to the other great things a Taurus has to offer.

Instead it is just helpful for a partner to know that his or her partner just happens to be like this by nature.

After weighing the pros against the cons, it really looks as if a Taurus would be a great match.
